The Livewell

Livewell March 2018

Habitat Work Day:  The habitat work day is scheduled for March 24 at 8:00am at Jefferson Point.  This year, we will be sinking trees in both the small lake and the big lake.  Volunteers should meet at Jefferson Point a little before 8:00am and we will then separate out into crews for each lake.

2018 Monthly Fish Contest Begins April 1st: The 2018 monthly fish contests begin on April 1st.  You can enter your big catch in one of any of six fish species categories for a chance to win a $10.00 check from the club. If your big fish is also the biggest fish entered in a category for the entire year, you will also win a trophy that will be presented to you at the club Christmas party in December.  You can enter as many fish species per month as you want for lake records,  But you can only collect the prize for 1 fish species in the same month.  If you need a key, contact Mike Olsen to purchase one.  You can enter your fish online by using the "Fish Contest Entry Form" that can be found in the "Resources" menu box on the right side, main page.

The minimum category fish weights are as follows:

Largemouth Bass = 4.00 lbs

Hybrid Striped Bass = 4.00 lbs

Catfish = 5.00 lbs
