The Lake Saint Louis Anglers Club is excited to announce our 2021 Agenda!
For Our Community
March 27- Fish Habitat workday, Windjammer Point 8:00 am – 12:00 pm
Artificial fish habitat attracts fish for fisherman however, it also provides a place for fish to raise young, lay eggs, feed and provide protection from danger, amongst many other positive benefits. Fry and forage species are the key to sustainability, protect them and there will be plenty of larger fish to catch. Here’s a great article from the Missouri Department of Conservation on the topic. https://mdc.mo.gov/property/pond-stream-care/ponds-plant-management/establishing-fish-cover.
On March 27th Anglers Club members will meet at Brittany Park on the little lake and Windjammer Marina on the big lake. We will attach the Christmas trees we have collected to large cinder blocks and sink them in key areas to depths that are safe for boaters and swimmers.
April 11th - Lake Cleanup Day, Brittany Park on the little lake and Windjammer Marina on the big lake 10:00 am – 1:00pm
Members of the Anglers Club will invite members of other clubs that use the lakes as well as CA members that want to help keep our lakes beautiful and clean to join us on April 11th from 10:00am to 1:00pm. We will ask participants to meet us at either location at 10:00am. We will provide trash bags and organize a plan to clean our lakes from boats as well as on foot along the shoreline in common areas. Waterfront homeowners are also encouraged to collect any trash along their shoreline and leave a trash bag on their dock where we can collect them.

The boat that accumulates the most points in the Championship Tournament Series events
(10 events/15 days total) will be crowned Champion at the end The Classic Tournament in October.
We will track the total bag weights weighed in each day during the championship series events and boats will each get one point per pound from their five biggest bags of the series. (Example: 15.5lbs, 13.2lbs, 11.5lbs, 16.3lbs, 10.1lbs = 56.6lb total = 56.6 points)
You can fish your boat as an individual or with a partner.
(All bags submitted must be with the same partner)
A boats total points will determine its standings leading into our Classic tournament
Points at the Classic tournament will be doubled (Example: 13.2 lbs = 26.4 points)
The boat with the most points at the end of The Classic tournament will be our Club Champion (Example: 56.6 points + 26.4 points = 83 points)

B.A.S.S Federation Nation
Win a spot in the B.A.S.S Master Classic
Schedule TBD
For more info visit www.mobass.com
B.A.S.S Federation Nation recognized clubs will be sending anglers to compete in the B.A.S.S state qualifying event in October. You may sign up as a boater or non-boater, but we are required to send an even number of boaters and non-boaters to the regional event. You will be placed with a random partner in the regional event so choosing a specific partner in the club is not necessary but it’s a good idea to connect with a non-boater and sign up together because this will ensure your entry if we end up with an uneven number of boaters and non-boaters. Club members will have priority over non-members in there is an uneven number of boaters and non-boaters.
Requirements:
B.A.S.S Annual Membership ($20)
B.A.S.S Federation Nation Annual Membership ($30)
Boaters will need 50 points and non-boaters will need 30 points
Fishing in a tournament on a Thursday night earns 5 points
Fishing in a tournament on a weekend earns 10 points
Fishing in a two-day tournament earns 20 points
New for 2021
Anglers Club MVP
(Sponsor TBD/ Payout TBD)
The MVP title will be awarded to the angler that weighs the highest total weight of fish caught from our first event until the end of The Classic in October. When fishing with a partner points will be split.
