At last months club meeting, all members in attendance voted on and passed changes to the club rules of procedure within the club bylaws. We all hope that these changes will help improve the way our club functions and make the club stronger in the future. Congratulations to those who worked so hard on these improvements. The Anglers Club membership is hereby advised of a proposed change to the club’s Rules of Procedure. This was proposed by your officers and board of directors. We are required to notify all members at least 2 weeks prior to the vote. This vote was tabled at the August 11th meeting and will now take place at the September 8th meeting.

ARTICLE VIII POLICY

Section 2. Any additional tournaments or activities not on the scheduled yearly agenda must be approved by a majority vote of the Club Officers and Board of Directors. The Officers and Board of Directors may suspend or revoke a membership of any member who violates this rule.

Catfish/Carp Derby Postponed: The catfish/carp derby scheduled for July 17 has been postponed due to the heat and the fact that it falls on the same day as the Fund raiser.  The new date is September 25th and the event will go from 7:00am - 11:00am.  The location also has been moved from Windjammer to the Main Marina.
